Created4Me Early Learning Centre started as Narol Children's Centre. NCC was founded in 1974 by experienced teachers and enthusiastic parents who believed that offering a quality educational experience was their primary goal. Located in the old Donald School in St. Clements, the age and decaying state of the building, along with the huge demand for quality full time care, led our Board and Director, to pursue the opportunities to expand our services into East. St. Paul.

Our classroom is a prepared learning environment created by trained teachers who follow an educational philosophy. Calm, caring teachers guide the children in the exploration and manipulation of classroom equipment. Individualized learning and independent choice-making, based on the child's inner needs and developmental level, are encouraged by the teachers. Respect for the child and the child's work is an integral part of the classroom. In this child-centred approach to learning, children work side by side on activities they choose, developing social skills, self-confidence, concentration, and a love of learning.

Most educators and psychologists today agree that the single most important period in the development of a person's intelligence occurs between birth and age five. A child's mind is extremely absorbent and the child's curiosity is at a peak during these early years. When properly nourished and stimulated, the child's mind forms patterns for learning that serve him well throughout life. The Created4Me system of preschool education has proven to be one of the most effective methods to guide a child through these critical years. Our early childhood program is designed to encourage the social, cognitive, physical and emotional development of the children it serves in the community. As well as to foster their creativity, exploration and learning in a stimulating environment. To be of maximum value, our nursery program is based on the understanding that through "play" children will learn and retain concepts more readily. These concepts will be used to develop a positive self image and to acquire school readiness skills.
